Cricket Coach Neil Killeen, Sckill 4 Sport Director
Neil Killeen is a cricketer whose heart and roots are firmly in North East Sport. Started out in Cricket at the age of 10 at Annfield Plain Cricket Club, moving on through the age groups and representing Durham at all ages and levels up to First Class.

He went on to represent England at U14, 15, 17, and 19 level culminating in a tour of the Caribbean in 1994/95 with Young England. Toured various countries of the world including Bangladesh with the MCC in 2000.
Neil is currently the longest serving player at Durham County Cricket Club having begun his career in 1992 when called up as a schoolboy to represent the first team squad in Zimbabwe on their inaugural first class tour. Went on to sign a summer contract in 1994 and moving on to a full contract in 1995.
Made his first class debut in 1995 against the West Indies and was awarded his county cap in 1999
Neil predominantly has made his name at Durham in the one day game and is currently the leading one-day wicket taker in the clubs history. Also finishing as one of the countries leading wicket takers in the one day game over the past few seasons. His main assets are his strong personality and dogged determination.
On the cricket coaching side of the game Neil is a level 3 / Staff coach level 1 and has a great amount of cricket coaching expertise in the game throughout all ages and abilities. Groups coached include Durham Academy, North of England U12, 13, 14 and 15,s as well as England Women. On top of these there is a great deal of input into schools, cricket clubs and organisations throughout the North East of England.
Neil has also been involved in a number of other sports in the North East including being Northern Counties Javelin Champion twice over and winning a Bronze medal in the English Schools Championships.
Now living with his wife Clare and their two sons Jonathan and Mitchell, Neil has worked to establish Sckill 4 Sport with former colleague and long term friend Martin Speight, also having recently been joined in the company by Paul Carrick.
